About United Immunity, Co., Ltd.
Unite the Power of Immunity and Nanoparticle, Change the Future of Patients
United Immunity is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering next-generation in vivo cell therapies with its proprietary Myeloid Targeting Platform™, designed to selectively target and program macrophages and dendritic cells directly in patients. The platform comprises two complementary pullulan-based nanoparticle technologies: P-LNP, a PEG-free, pullulan-coated lipid nanoparticle for delivery of mRNA, siRNA, and DNA; and PNP, a pullulan nanoparticle for delivery of small molecules, peptides, and proteins. Both technologies enable selective delivery to DC-SIGN-expressing myeloid cells in diseased tissues and lymphoid organs, with potential applications across cancer, fibrosis, autoimmune diseases, and infectious disease vaccines.
The company’s lead program, UI-102, is in Phase 1/2 clinical development and uses PNP to encapsulate and deliver a TLR7/8 small-molecule agonist to tumor-associated macrophages, with the goal of transforming immunologically “cold” tumors into “hot,” immune-responsive tumors. The company also develops an in vivo CAR-macrophage (CAR-M) therapy designed to program macrophages directly in patients using P-LNP-delivered CAR-encoding mRNA for cancer treatment and an in vivo macrophage therapy designed to restore TIM4 expression using P-LNP technology for the treatment of fibrotic diseases, including MASH and IPF.
